London (Bus) Stop FlagsVarious bus and Green Line coach stop flags as seen around the London area. Many of these are historic images which were photographed in the 1980's. Unless otherwise stated very little area information is known - although sometimes it is possible for the knowledgeable to guess from the route numbers shown. Mostly these images were sourced from 35mm slide (transparency) film, although a few were taken using 126 film and modern digital cameras. Alas some images are a little scratched and / or show the effects of mould or other growth on the films. ![]() Bus Compulsory 3 days a week ![]() Bus Compulsory Headstop ![]() Modern Bus Compulsory with text in the Roundel ![]() Modern Bus Compulsory with text in the Roundel, railway and tram interchange ![]() Bus Compulsory with text below the Roundel and railway interchange ![]() Bus Compulsory Ilford 2 ![]() Bus Compulsory Night LED Illuminated April 2008 ![]() Bus Compulsory Closed At Certain Times Flag Cover Summer 2016 ![]() Bus Compulsory Rail Replacement Cover July 2009 ![]() Temporary Compulsory Bus Stop For Rail Replacement ![]() Dolly stick portable Compulsory Bus Stop For Rail Replacement plus service information ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Compulsory ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Compulsory dollystick label on fullsize flag ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Request Bus Fare Stage ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Request With White Border Around Flag ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Request With Red Border Around Flag ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Request With Sign Saying form queue other side ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Request metal pole outside Parkside Hotel, North Street, Romford With thanks to Trevor Haynes for additional location information ![]() Bus Compulsory Coach Request palm trees Romford garage ![]() Dolly stick Bus Compulsory Coach Request, at temporary traffic signals. The six images below come from a collection of approx 3" enamel signs which were bought in a 'flea market' at transport event many years ago.
